The park in Cyprus is surprisingly big to outsiders. But if you've lived around here long, you know it's always been this way. The park doubles as a nature preserve and provides walking trails, horseback riding trails, fishing at the designated pond with docks, a playground, skate park, and volleyball and tennis courts.

Most days, the fair grounds remain empty, but every weekend they are rented out by local farms hosting small horse shows. Every third weekend of the month, however, the grounds are pretty packed due to the local fair.

The doctor's office in Cyprus treats a range of patients and cases. Come here for most anything that doesn't require major surgery. Broken legs will need to go to Nashville.

The track here was built, and still maintained, by an older couple living in Cyprus, long out of the horse business themselves. Mr and Mrs Heron still love horse racing, and they love the people of Cyprus even more, so they keep the track open.

Adventure Land is a small recreational spot for kids and young adults, and one of the most popular places to hang out with friends. Play laser tag, ride go-karts, play miniature golf, go rock climbing, or hit the arcade. There's also a small restaurant inside with pizza, nachos, snow-cones, and popcorn.

Swale Ridge is an older neighborhood in Cyprus, with a mix of older and newer homes, though few newer than five years old. Swale Ridge is populate mostly by middle to lower class citizens with a wide range in age and family sizes.

Quite pricy, but worth every dollar, The Patterson House is known for excellent cocktails, good food, and great ambiance.

If you love country music, you have to see the Country Music Hall of Fame while in the city of Nashville.

This Cafe was made world-famous by the TV show, Nashville, but locals have loved the live music, good food, and atmosphere for much longer than that.

Rooms average about $250 a night. Loews Vanderbilt is luxury and comfort. 10 minute drive from Downtown Nashville.

A cheaper hotel, averaging $104 a night, not excellent quality but great if you're on a budget and want to see Nashville.
